Oktech, Oliver Koertgen.
3.7 24v 436hp at that time.
It's current engine is 3.9 24v and hé is shooting for 500hp. Didn't make it just yet so is changing a few things.

500 bhp should be right, Modified 997 3.9 has about 500. But I suspect at 9000 rpm, you would need a better crank. AHM sells the part. Though a complete Alfa 3.9 with 500 bhp and billet crank, would probably be a lot more expensive then a used F430 engine.

His 75 is an original autodelta group a or something, so already worth a hole lot of money...
He builds most of his owns parts. I think he has a 103 mm bore to get to 3.9l.
This car weighs less then 1000kg, the porsche will be a bit heavier i think.

I'm guessing in parts alone, the engine cannot be less than $15K with the AHM crank. $7-8K with a stock crank.
F430 engine:

F360 Engine:

Masserati V8/ Alfa 8C 4.7 engines are super cheap, relatively speaking:

However I think Oliver builds it out of passion, so I guess he can stretch the money part a bit more and like you said his chassis is has historical significance.
