Hey Dennis, once you leave those flat lands of Holland and check out the sunny land of Oz, they'll need to put a straight jacket on ya to get you back on the plane home!! :D

Fernando, it's a beatifull planet we all live on isn't it. Everyone has a nice chunk of it somewhere. We just need to see the inherent beauty in it.

Personally I prefer Cricket to Rugby but do enjoy Aussie Rules football from time to time.

Some updates on Aussie activities.

Any AROCA members going to Ballarat for the Alfesta celebrations between 13-17th April 2006 ? If so, I'll catch you there.

Apologies to the rest of the planet for lack of relevance.

Bit more of my travelogue this year.
Brisbane>Ballarat>Melbourne>Snowies>Canberra> Up the east coast >Brisbane= 4 000 km. What a blast. Haven't got any blue notes in the mail yet. Fingers crossed.

Sovereign Hill at Ballarat has got to be one of the best home grown tourist venues there is.

Judging by the bricks, there must be a shortage of nails in Melbourne.

Let these cars loose on the open roads and man its brain sex on wheels !! :D

AND.....

Better late than never.....

I must extend a great thanks to Mike for the inspiration his immaculate "Blue (but its not really Blue) Lightning" has given me.

The thing is an amazing piece of kit- with every modification thought through logically, and nothing performed without regard to its effectiveness. Everything in that car is in its place, from the "his and hers" seats, to a cage David Copperfield couldnt get out of. It behaves like a new car, in manner, and feel.

Then there's the gearshift.

AND OMFG guys. "You dont know what youve got until you sample what someone else has manufactured and it makes an Alfetta seem like shit", should really be a Top 40 song.

A slight twitch of the rist and you're into second. A La Toyota MR2.

I know what I will be looking @ doing in the future, no matter what road I take.

Cheers for lunch too, Mike! C Ya next time Im up North!
