Nice pics there Andrew.I still remember watching Andy Rouse compete in the old Group 1, 2 hour race at the 'proper' Kyalamy back in the 1980's.I was an awe struck teenager who was lucky enough to have an uncle who was a good friend with Nico Bianco, who drove the factory backed GTV6... :D Derek Bell still drove a GTV6 in that same race and I can recall seeing him and his then wife behind the pits and being star struck that here was a Le Mans legend driving an Alfa GTV6... lLike I always tell people, racing does pay, because those early influences have shaped my love of Alfa's to this day.

My uncle, funnily enough, drove a BMW 530i,that was prepared by our very own Roger Taylor so hence the fact that I have a soft spot for our most feared rival.

Andrew is Jon Dooley still around ? I always made sure I read up on his exploits in Autosport flying the Alfa flag.
