Alfetta GT/GTV/GTV6 buyers guide on motorlegend

Post by SimonB »

Just a quick note to say a nicely produced buyers guide to the Alfetta coupes has just been published on www.motorlegend.com. It has some nice photos and cutaway drawings for those who don't read much French. Just go to the homepage and follow directions for the 'guide d'achat Alfa Romeo GT/GTV/6'.

Look what they say about values:

-Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 6 (1980-86) : 7500€

That's around USD$9K, right?

I'm keep seeing hints that the values are rising. Classic Car publications give the '6 good press every once in a while - this is helping. Of course, they're rusting away to rarity: that's helping too!

i'm agree with theses prices...beetwen 6K and 7.5K € for a gtv6 like the first day !.
at this price you can get a complete and fully oem specs model.
with a low mileage.
in common of time, you can find a gtv6 with a bit of painting a mecanical job for 1.5K to 3K €

but translate it in $ is always a bad issue beetwen countrys.

for a working class man the salary in france is 1K€ per month for 40h per week, this did something like 1.2K$
and here the liter of petrol is 1.25€/L->1.5$/L

this make 4$/gallon the petrol here for cars.... (1L=0.3785 gallon i think)

just a question for my knowledge, how much it is the price of fuel in us ?

i'm not crying at all, or anything like...
here fuel is costy but the medicare is free.... and i think that people crying about the price of fuel dont realise that they are lucky to have free medical care in comparaison of other country.
i guess youre going for it to ?(in usa)

also², imho.....living in france is a good experience about....CHEESE... :D so tasty.... :!:
