The small tube coming off the side of the oil separator?
What is it suppose to connect to?
Its continuous with the tube coming out the bottom of the engine connection.
looks like a drain back to the bottom of the sump for excess oil.havent seen one in that style before howevr the 164 style ones have the same thing.if your engine doesnt have a nipple for it to attach back to around the sump area or near the distributer, just block it off.
Thanks guys.
What I'll do with is use it to feed a drop of oil or two onto the thrust bearing that replaces my distributor.
I was just curios as to what alfa used it for as it doesn't appear in any of the manuals I have.
ye im pretty sure that wat it is for. unusual though that all the v6's i have seen in australia dont have that little return nipple like yours, except for the later 164s ofcourse. ye looks like someone dipped that engine bay in some wax. even all the hoses and belts look imac.
