Just modify the original sump on the 3.2 to fit in 116 . Much easier and no leaks around front of pulley . Your only 18mm closer to Tarmac than standard sump in 12v .
See the links here of three different ways . viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2648&start=30
Next time I take sump off on spare motor I will measure but you would want it to be high enough above the sludge that collects ( probably not in your case ) and also clear any moisture that settles below the oil if car is standing for long time ( but probably not in your climate either ) .
I might have sump off next week .
Just fitted the V6 engine in the car , no stress on the engine mounts all fits great, But have just noticed that the alignment of the engine front is over to the left hand side. Is that normal.
Yes , about 7degrees , so it bell housing bush and centre bearing offset . Old theory is as car accelerates it twist the engine into a straighter position . All about comfort . On my race car I made own engine mounts and aligned whole drivetrain up BUT I made an engine brace to stop any movement of the engine .

Have not got that far yet as I had to do some work on the Alfetta body.
I just wanted to sit the V6 in to see if it fitted ok, I am going to remove the V6 now and paint the cars fire wall engine compartment. Just was worried it fitted in to easy and it was over to the LHS.Please refer to the photo.
