The point is that you would remove them from the "front" without access to the back of the seal, just like I suggest doing the front crank seal (and have done multiple).x-rad wrote:ar4me: OK..hypothetically, if I had big enough leaks at all those seals ..i would pull the engine to redo them..
BTW, of oil seals, only rear crank seal justifies pulling engine, although I have heard of someone doing it with engine in car
