I am glad I started this thread. 260bhp from 2.5 with L-jet! (you can see the AFM in the video). Enzo, do you know what spec this motor is? I wounder what a 3.0litre would do with a similar spec?

it's not a 2.5! it WAS a 2.5....installed a 3.0 crank....maschined the block....3.0 valves in the 2.5 heads, s-cam, increased the fuel pressure....still using stock l-jet with the 2.5 AFM....

My engine has more than that one, megasquirted and i don´t feel it has more than 210 hp...

Well, standard CSC, but if those big bore exhaust can add 50 hp i´m going to make the upgrade tomorrow !!!

My car only has 212 bhp. With stock 3.0 heads & valves (no porting), paper air filter (no free flowing stuff) and SZ exhaust manifold (basically like stock cast ones).

I wonder if the CSC SV manifold can boost bhp up to 225 bhp or so? 260 bhp sounds very optimistic.

the car has 10.5:1 comp-ratio if I remember right, I have to the owner...runs only on RON98/100....we had a funny day on the dyno with some other alfas and some integrales....

Norm-leisturg? -power of what?
Motorleisturg- engine power
Redleistung- power at wheels
schleppleistung- Losses?

So, i understand that the power at wheels is 186 ps(hp), take 17% of losses and we have 217 ps (hp), this sound more realistic to me.

Anyway, 230 hp of engine power sounds ok, Sz Cup cars whith ECU and shaved heads gave 220-230 hp.

But i don´t understand what kind of power is Norm-leisturg.

Stock 2.5 ignition? static advance?

the Norm-Leistung is the power according to DIN 7002, with corrections factors includet; like air temp that was 45°C, air pressure etc...DIN 7002 will calculate the power @ 20°C (not 100% sure if 20 or 25°C) etc.

Norm = normalized, i.e like what enzo said, normalized according to DIN 7XXX
