Got a bench mounted electric wire brush?

Jose I had great luck with combustion chamber cleaner. It usually comes in an aerosal can. What I did was spray the whole can into a coffee can and soak the valves for a couple of hours. After that I was able to remove most the crud with a toothbrush (my wife's  )This also worked well for my pistons.Be sure to inspect your valves very carefully once they are clean.Use a magnifying glass and pay particular attention to the exhaust valves. You're looking for hairline cracks which usually radiate in from the outside edge. Not uncommon.

I use a rotating wire brush on either a bench grinder or an electric drill. That works very well.
