Post by timo »

Hi!

I started engine after long period of non-use.
Engine started fine but ignition timing is missing because belt slipped.

Where are the marks and on what position.
A left B right on camshafts
C on crank axle

Please help.
If you have any pictures to send i am very grateful.

Have you really tried the search function?

There are several thread about cambelts, why not read/continue the deiscussion in one of those?

Marks are on the cams themselves with alignment marks on the cam bearing caps. These can be found underneath the cam-covers. So you need to take off the covers to see them. Fairly easy to spot with covers off.

On the crank there are several marks, but one is probably marked with a "P", meaning Punto ( TOP in italian)
