Engine only runs on the 'Key' ???

My Gtv has started to give me starting problems where it will only fire when the starter is turned.. when the key is released it dies.. ? This only happens once or twice a week but its getting worse.. sometimes like today it wont go at all..???

My first thought is that you have some ditry or worn ignition switch contacts. Could also be some contact problems in the balance of the igniton circuit eg. fuse area, coil area. Try an ignition key bypass connection via a 20 amp fuse and see if the problem persists. If the symptom stops, you have your answer.

It was a loose connection on the fuel pump...
