Throttle linkage on 3.0 conversion

Does somone know / have pics of their 3.0 conversion from the 2.5 in a GTV6?

I have a 1988 milano engine in my 83 GTV6 that was installed by the previous owner. He did fine with everything it seems, except for the throttle. It has the 3.0 throttle body and a goofy brazed up lever going to the stock 2.5 throttle cable. The result being that there is only about 50% opening of the throttle plate. The 3.0 cam wheel on the throttle body is still there and usable.

Do I simply need the stock Milano cable and bracket?

Thanks,
Scott

i alsi did this conversion and i found the easiest thing to do was use the cable that came out of the 75/milano along with the later style of pedal fitted to the gtv. not sure about the models where you are from but down here i was able to use the throttle peddal from a late 84 85 gtv 2.0. basically this is the pedal that does not have the hand throttle on the engine side of the firewall. another thing to be careful of as i made this silly mistake is to try and use the pedal from the 75/milano/90 as there is a slight bend in the top of the pedal that touches the fusebox. basically its quite easy if you can source the late gtv pedal and original 75/90 pedal it will just all fit in like original. i can show u pics if u need to.

Could you please post pics on this?

Both ends of the throttle cable and the cable brackets if you have them.

Thank you very much,

Scott
