Hi gang,

In the process of a rebuild on a Milano V6 and I'm having trouble trying to remove the liners. I was able to get 2 of the 6 out but these last 4 won't budge. So far the best way I've found is to tap (lightly) on the bottom with a piece of wood. Anyone have any ideas or tricks to remove the liners without damaging anything?

Tap harder. Worked 4 me.

AlfaBeta Have you tried some heat ? Take a propane torch and work the flame around the base and then give your wooden block a good tap.If you're going to re-use your liners make sure they don't go flying out and crash to the floor.

Or you could simply make up basic tools to do the job with....

Thanks for the reply. I'll give the heat trick a try, I'll put a bag of ice water in the liner. And I'll blast the block with a heat gun and give the liner a wack. Regarding the tool pics, those were pretty neat!

I little heat gun on the block worked like a charm, they came right out with a couple light taps!
