it could be made thinner but you have to have a good jig to avoid warping

I am fixing to do exactly that. Actually, I plan to pay to have them done. I bought a box of mandrel bent tubes for the job, now I am having the plates made.
After that, I intend to have a shop do the cutting, welding, and collector fabrication. Not sure yet how much it will cost to have them built.

The test plate that I had made doesnt seem to be good enough for my tastes. The fitment needs to be better. I am not sure if I need to try a different machininst, or what.

If any of you guys would like the cutting files for the 12v and 24v flanges I will email it to you free. I can also send the bottom flanges as they are both male and female sides. The hard part is to build the set. I an also post you detaled pics .

These files are all on dxf format and wont send in the message box. Is there a way we can put them on this site so any one can access them without having to mail me. It would be easier. On the disc are header flanges for 12v and 24v, fly wheel spacer, intake flanges,. Probably about three grand worth of drawing time.
Maybe Michael can contact me.

Kevin,

How do you make the tubes to mate to the 4-valve port shape? Do you have some sort of a die?

Slyalfa,

Don't you have a 24V you bought from OKparts? Or was it a 2nd gen 12V engine?
