What kind of prices are you guys paying for 24V valve guides? Barry? JimK? Anyone? Seems like they are very expensive. Are there any other guides which have similar dimensions that can be machined down a little?

About 12 euro per guide, but that was a couple of years ago

I just had a quick look (no real googling) and local price is hefty. ~€30 each.

What I did with my 8V TS is let the machine shop put an insert in the stock ones. This was the easy way to change to 7 mm valve stems. Didn't bother to ask the price though. Can't be €30 each 4 sure.

Bazza,

Do you have the OD size of the stock guides? If you use other makes guides, do you also use the corresponding seals as well? Or do you machine the top to accept Alfa seals?

I'm, gonna talk to my mechanic on Monday.
