Dear friends,
I desperately need a complete set of piston rings for rebuilding my 2.5 V6 (GTV6 1981). It seems these are out of stock in Italy and so they appear on the IAP online catalogue.
Could you point me to a fast and reliable source for these?

Thanks
Lucio

Hastings don't seem to sell to individuals. CenterlineAlfa seem to have them in stock, though I'm not 100% sure they are "standard". Can anyone have a look and confirm? (item #PR625)

Thanks

Pssst...dont tell anyone, but you can use VW Combi rings on the Alfa...You have to widen the second ring groove by 1/2 mm....

Lucio,

Hastings are moly rings and require the correct hone (320 grit)..also, read the break in instructions. Don't take the rings out of the box until you are ready to install so you don't mess up the order...

Ever consider using TOTAL SEAL piston rings. Very ingenious piston rings that really increase compression and reduce blow by. Call Summit racing they have them.
