hi all, i have a 1982 gtv with a 1985 90 2.5L v6 in it.
for the most part the engine runs well,
however lately sometimes on start up or running the car will cut out, when i try to restart it, it will start then immidatly die,
ive cheaked all coil wires, sometimes when i cheak spark it will be dim then all of a sudden bright, ive cheaked the theermo sensor and i know that the double relay is working as inhave manually connected the pints to make sure the fuel pump wurls as well as when the AFS gate is opened. i also know the air intake is leak free. i dont no why and im really at my wits end with the car. any help would be gratly appreciated thanx

sounds like injectors quitting (all except the cold start injector)...that means an electrical issue or blocked fuel system. I go with more likely choice...Check all engine grounds and all connections.


OR

of course, you are losing spark only after starting, which may be a distributer issue...but less likely.

try a switch out of your ecu with a good working one?
