What are your recommendations? I think factory is 18.4 ft-lbs (oiled stud) + 240degrees (60x4), but some have said that’s almost 95 ft-lbs of torque. That’s a lot higher than the 12V spec. How have you done yours?

I pressurized the engine's cooling system to about 14 psi and it leaks coolant THROUGH THE HEAD STUDS THREADS!!! 4 of them to be exact. Anyway I also opened the 6 coolant plugs in the heads, put sealant and found missing washers, so I put in copper washers as well. Then cleaned up the head studs threads, sanded the washers and head bolts on a flat surface, and put a bit of sealant on the threads of the studs. Tightened it down to 81 ft-lbs of torque. I tested this on one of the studs and it stupped the leak.

i always do it like factory specs, but not 4x60. I do it 2x120 degree so to have no stop while the bolt is already torqued so much. I hope you understand :D
