Installing a Gotech MFI on a L-Jet 88 Spider. Running a modified dist with hall sender installed. I have RPM signal and lots of spark. No injector signal!! I have power to both sides of injector connectors, but ECU is not switching ground. Gotech trouble shooting on website is useless. Any ideas?

Have you tried to reach GoTech on MSN Messenger?

info@gotech.co.za

I see them logged into IM quite frequently - might be worth trying?
They also have the forum on their site.

I called JJ of Friday with no response. I was hoping maybe someone else had a similar problem in the past. I will call South Africa directly this afternoon if I do not hear from JJ.

What do you mean by that? Do you have +12V on both pins? Are you sure the injectors are wired correctly?

Mats,You will always have +12v on both pins when its switched on..The transistor is switched to ground, remember??

Yes there is 12v to both sides of each injector connector. As Barry mentions, this is the correct state until the ECU grounds the injectors to fire them. The basic harness was purchased from JJ, so the wiring matchs what Gotech lists in their website. I have RPM signal and spark.

Guess I figured the ground side was just open or grounded, not +12v or grounded.

I think JJ will probably swap you ecus or wiring harnesses. I doubt Gotech would want you taking those things apart and looking for the problem.
