The kit was made by myself and is quite simple:

- 1 manifold to link the AFM to the filter

- 1 cone filter with heat shield

- 1 empty headlight unit

- some ducktape and aluminium piping

- The net is to keep birds away from my intake valves

I can´t trully prove gains but I registred a 5km/h improvement at top speed.

I think your intake is exactly right-you absolutely have to get cold air to those cone filters! How much room is there around the air filter shield?
I made a compartment for the cone filter in the engine bay, and ducted the air from the headlight into it. Your arrangement is much simpler, I think. I have tested this, and if your filter is sucking air from the engine bay, you have a significant HP loss.

It sucks (air). And most probably does it quite good too. Both cold and and as high pressure as possible.

I'm trying something similar on my GTV but mounting the pod behind the headlights and only removing the lights for track work.

With this configuration the filter only sucks air from the oustide of the engine bay...fresh clean air!

I know a dyno run would be an interesting thing to do to be sure of the real HP gain/loss...
