Whatever you feel appropriate!
I.e. 225 mm

Micke,
Can you explain the measurements on race tires? The profile part is a little strange. No 40,50,55 series, more like 610 etc.

The dimensioning is different as you noticed.
Width (TREAD not maximum) / Tire Diameter - Rim diameter
First two measures can be mm, cm or in for some extra confusion. Rim is always inch.
So 205/50R15 would be about 160/590R15.

In my experience all the "race" rubber (i.e. A032R, 540S and such) always measure tread width.
I must say I find it difficult to believe you can fit a 225/630 in a GTV without cutting metal. (Unless you make it really high).

If the size is given in the "street way" the width is maximum section (also A032, A048). If it's in the racing form it's the tread.
Some sizes:

A 225/630 might be tight as it could be 240 wide but 225/50R16 (63 cm OD) is not a problem in mine anyway. And yes, it is low, and yes, I've given it a couple of rounds with Mr. Sledgehammer.
In the rear you can fit almost anything.
