Thanks. Felt really close when I passed the 75, looked over to my left and thought we were going to touch, you can see it in my rear view actually.
Got some breathing room when they started to go two cars wide through the turn, not a very fast way to go round a track. :)

From my testing day on Friday, reworked rear end and new gearbox.
New camera and wide angle lens too. :)

What is your steering ratio? Is it a custom fabricated steering rack?

Actually I had to break in my brand new final drive earlier during the day. Engine is well broken in though. :?
Google limits the quality pretty well.

MALDI: Yes, just under 2 revolutions lock to lock. Actually I think it's a little bit too quick, just a little bit slower would be nice.

TS_turbo: Thanks. The rear end recieved new bearings, more camber, the CVs were regreased and had some new boots fitted (actually switched one joint that was really bad), new synchros on 2nd, 3rd and 4th, and the above mentioned final drive ratio 4.55:1. I also switched out some of the synchro sleeves and teeth on some of the gears. The tranny feels very nice and tight now. :)

Very nice! i love the new lens setup, I agree that a bit more resolution would be nice, but overall a great cam setup!

Thanks :)

Like I said, Google Video fcuks it up pretty good. I have it in DV quality here and it's super clean. I'm going to play around a bit with the setup, it (the camera) kinda tries to get the light right for inside the car so the outside gets too bright. But this was just a first test, it will be better. Looks like I need to play around with the angle of the polarization filter too. 8)

Mats, im looking for a good DVD on your racing with inside and outside track views to show at our club. Can be outside only. Its always great to see Alfas racing on the other ends of the world.
Mats what is the elevation of track from see level in last video.

I got two DVDs from two seasons of racing, I'll meet you at the Ring and you'll have them ok? :)
What's with you serthefrikens and elevation? I have no idea about elevation, an educated guess would be ~50m.
I don't have a lot of outside footage though, mostly in-car. For some reason no-one ever shoot video at our trackdays, everybody wants to drive I guess. :)

Thanks Barry.
Will be difficult to DL the other videos from me right now though as the server is spread out in my living room át the moment... Quick upgrade, yeah right
I'll try to have it together before the end of the month though but for some reason the racecar is a priority.

You should make a $ collection at the forum to buy a VOB untit. Then you can overlay the speed, gear and lateral+longitudinal acceleration in your videos.
