Wet qualification so I qualified third, fastest guy without rain tyres... Who's your daddy.
The track dried before the race. Started on a wet patch of tarmac so I got a real crappy start with lots of wheelspin.
Could have won my class but I'm too cautious so I didn't manage to overtake and I fried my tires on the penultimate lap (marshals signalled final lap a lap too soon) so I got overtaken instead. :/
I need to toughen up!

Looks good Mats. What's up with the grinding?
Is the 75 stock? Pretty fast if it is.
What about the sud? Looks like a series 1. Does it have a 1.7 16V engine? That car really goes!

That was fantastic video Mats. Had me on the edge of my seat.
I'm intrigued by the 'Sud. I kept looking for solid fuel boosters strapped to the sides.
Did the 75 cause much damage to the rear of your car?

Tnx guys.
Z: "stock" meaning uprated chassis and everything not needed thrown out and so on. Remember the nice 4-1 branch manifold?
Sud, series one? can't say I know anything about suds...
Very strong engine, notice how it just drives past the Giulia Turbo on the straight.
DaveH: No contact between cars (I guess you mean at around 7 minutes?), curbs are a bit rough in that area though...

Yeah, I have a similar video from the GTV that is in pole (in front of me at the start), kinda boring as you have absolutely nothing to compare it to. :/
Maybe I should mount a rear view mirror for the camera as well, there is plenty of stuff going on back there...

Is the first of your pics from the end of the race?
Has Johan gained a lap on the entire bunch of you?
The tracks seems pretty slow but could be fun to drive. Let's see if I can haul my ass there once I'm back "in the neighborhood".
BTW, Nice video. Good quality.

No, It's a new guy!
GTV 1.8 turbo.
Twisty track, very entertaining to drive. The elevetion differences makes it a bit different.

Mats,
Ooops. Stock as in, stock internal engine components (no cams, pistons etc, mods). Manifold looks like a work of art though.
So the lead car was Moberg? He has a 2.0 TS right? Is it highly modified?
And the Moberg-look-alike car was a new guy with a 1.8T?
Well I hope to put in a full cage this summer.
BTW anyone interested in drop/extended spindles? Will only fit 16" wheels. I want to go back down to 15" wheels.

Mats,
Nice battle between you and the guilia.
Just a few pony's too short or loose some weight, to pass easily.
The corner speed is higher
