Two years of blood and sweat and an international consultancy with a cast that reads like the epilogue in the movies...eleven days to launch date..still got some key items to finish..will he make it???

The "Flying Brick" is my TS powered '78 Alfetta. You'll be hearing a lot more about it soon. All made possible due to this Forum.

Some of the photos you will see elsewhere on the Forum due to different topic discussions I have been invovled in. For readers who have not seen them, the additional photos will give more continuity to this topic. So here's some to start with..where it all began

Owning a race car for the first time in your life certainly is exciting even if it is a humble Alfetta. It's not a fire breather nor a whimp..It's even more pants wetting when you realise it's gonna be driven by the world's oldest rookie !! :D

..getting exhaust fitted today..yeehaaaww !!

Meanwhile have a gander of the finished paintwork.

No exhaust today.
Story of my life.......

I need one of those large brown paper bags that I can stick head inside and yell FAAAAAAARRRRKKKKK !!!!

..another day down the toilet.

Yes, I promise lots of photos when it's all together. May not be the fastest thing but it is bristling with lots of neat ideas which I want to share with you.

Checked the mail box today Dennis, not here yet. Sheit, I used to have finger nails once but I have chewed them down to my knuckles.. :D

Soon I will joining the ranks with Kevin, Mats, Dennis , Micke and others and find out what it's like to go white knuckling, he hee.

The exhaust didn't happen because they couldn't find mufflers shallow enough to give sufficient ground clearance. At one stage we are talking cutting up the floor pan to put the muffler in the cabin.... you see my problems here?

Thanks for the encouragement. I sure need it.

OZMidnight
The tuning it shared between Gary Stewart and Jim Milliner. If you want to know more seeing you are local, send me a PM

Keep stuffing the muf for yourselves. This is a car forum ;-)

BTW did cut out a big piece of floor to fit a silencer in the exhaust.
