I had thought about making a drop leg that has a taper and thread where it goes into the steering arm and also an internal taper and thread to receives a standard ball joint. Obviously the hard part is actually screwing the ball joint stud into the drop leg and applying enough torque to call it tight.... Then I had planned to drill and roll pin the ball joint stud so it couldn't undo.MD wrote:I anticipate having to move the tie rod connection down about 80mm so I am working on that criteria.
