So the Sei diff can take this kind of power good? :)

I've got one under my GTV at the moment and it's good to see it being used behind a TT, makes me feel better about it's strength.

What ratio's do you have in the Sei? I have 3 Sei diffs, 2 are un unusable 4,27:1 and the one under my car is a 3,67:1 if i remember correctly. With the 0.8 V this should be fun. :)

But is you would use the ZF gearbox from a beemer it's 1:1 in V, so the gearing is a fair amount shorter. :(
Drive it like you stole it...

Never seen a broken sei diff , Its from an auto so has ls. Off hand the ratios cant remember but ist on another thread.
Just thought i would squeeze this car in . Its an absolute killer. Over 330kw on wheels at altitude . E36M3 has 156kw and standard Gta 138kw on same dyno.
This 147 is a 3.7 single turbo on .5 bar boost. You gotta ease the power on .(built by Div)

On a very sad note the owner(Dougie Packer) of the above 147GTA turbo and who also owns all the race GTV 's with big bore motors passed away this week through botched operation by doctors. Huge loss to everyone . I had to write this as his car is featured here and it would be difficult to ignore that.

On a more cheery note see the wide tyres on the 155

Thats very sad news to hear Kevin. . .

I remember Dougie well from my trips over to S.A. I helped to fit the first RS Racing kit in S.A to his GTV6 at Dawie's Glenwood workshop together with Wikus. Back then it had a carb 3.5 12v engine.

I got a few handy laps in it at Zwartkops as well. Was a lot of fun! I think you were there? I remember racing up the freeways with Wikus driving Dougie's GTV6, and myself and Roberto Giordanelli giving chase in a 156 3.7 after the test day had finished - only in South Africa could you get away with that!!

I was also invited by him and the family down to East London for a weekend of racing. A big hearted and generous guy!

A true Alfa petrolhead

Andrew , it seemed like yesterday you guys were out here. There are some pics of Dougie and his cars in his garage on the Trofeo Racing thread. Hope to see you out here for the David Piper Series on 28th Jan . I believe that IMSA 75 will be back again. I will also be racing but in a different series thank goodness , that car is so fast. Its got about a 100hp more than mine and runs on full slicks , factory set up and a seasoned driver. He is a full 5 seconds quicker than me but I can cut my time down another 2 seconds for next race hopefully with the accelerator now going past the 3/4 mark .

Some more pics of the 155 . All suspension , prop gearbox is in . Now bodywork starts and the tt motor gets bolted in . Still atleast 6mnths away

Progress has been made on this car. Its running with its dummy engine . No DTM pannels on it yet . Some pics still in its raw form. Note the other Mid mount TT 155 twin turbo parked next to it. Roll cage , twin turbo 3.7 motor and all other accesories awaits . This is a very long project,

Well that 155 is taking shape slowly with the combination road/track DTM kit built in several stages . I think Domingos will make a few kits once he finished . Still working on the rear arches going into rear bumper. He did a small burnout in the 3.4,24v tt GTV to park it in position next to the 155 - not quite ken block style but still impressive :D
Note the speed he moves :D :D

Great to see the guys in the powermods.co.za workshop ( good see you Warren ) Its always fascinating to see what Domingoes is up to wit ECU's and ofcourse his crazy 155. Think you guys know this is his third 155 creation . Last two been a mid mount twin turbo and and also a very neat twinspark .
After I collected my new upgraded powermods ecu I zapped some pics . The car is about a year away from completion as business must still continue . What is impressive is the way he is trying to copy the DTM concept of getting the engine low ( ie the dry sump ) and getting is as far back as possible . Obviously doing this all on a weekend budget and using the busso motor which has been enlarged extensively :D by Glenwood ( Dawie ) . I guess if budget was huge my manifolds would not be on there but I'm sure at a later stage when searching for the extra 10 hp they might be changed 8)
Check the pics out .
