Found pics of your car from Saturday . It's always interesting to note those twinspark 2.0 116 GTV are full dedicated lightweight race cars just under 800 kg while yours gets driven to the track and the red one is on full slicks . I think the red GTV of Lopez was only 3 sec quicker .

Hi Kev

Thanks for the compliment ,..... I think I should take my car to where "911" takes his, I can then lose 200kg... 8)

Giuseppe, it's a specific service they carry out...ask then to fix your headlights. But be warned....

GTV TT never lost any weight, but the 2.5 GTV did. Only snag is I now have to put it all back together again, and with my luck I'll be left with "spares" body parts I can't figure out where they fit.

Can't believe I came from sunny UK to miserably cold and wet SA . :D its understatement how fast your car is Joemart when comparing to the other cars on the track .( and on its own) Must say Dawie did an excellent neat job on your car and its sound is music from the pit wall even with that one silencer box . Now you must put some real brakes in there so you can slow down . You probably got one of the fasted gtv6 around with the 10:43 box accompanied with those standard minuscule front calipers .
Driving your ML back home behind you from the track watching you hammer that Audi turbo was a lot of fun . Must say we had a good laugh . We could hear that motor even 300m behind you .
