What's the best out there? Why ?

Castrol SRF: Very expensive, good dry and wet boiling point.
Motul RBF600: Under half the price of the SRF and the same or even a couple of degrees higher dry boiling, not as good wet boiling as SRF but who cares on a race car, you change the fluid often enough...
Some guys like Elf Racing Blue but I haven't looked at that as the RBF suits my needs and is easily accessible (and priced right)

I used Motul and Ate racing and both work very well.
Pick a racing fluid you get for a good price and change it often enough.

I think in that case, for USA based racers, Valvoline Synthetic is the best all rounder. If you are a good driver and use just enough brakes, and change fluid often, it's the best choice. US$5.99/qt.

Motul RBF600 Racing fluid for me, works great and costs 18Euros/liter here. Change once a year anyway.

That's what the Girodisc guys put on my Verde when they installed the prototype brake kit (
