The Yellow one is a well built car, not sure if it has a App K book or not but as you can see on the videos it has a strong engine! The red one has a std 2 liter engine like me and we're quite evenly matched as you can see. Which 75? The red one is a 3.0 and the black one is a turbo with some serious power.
In the second video you can actually see the front tires creep sideways, the picture starts vibrating pretty badly in the turns and in the driver seat you could really feel it. :?

The red 75 doesn't hold as tight a line as your GTV. I was suspecting it must have been a V6.

Yeah, noticed that black 75 was fast!! As far as Jim's books tips on building a good engine, i'm still waiting to get my car running and get it to the rolling road and quantify the improvements...it's a 1.6 with the full head treatement from Jim's book, plus CB47 cams and 45's webers, compression is around 9.5 or 9.7 to 1
So what are the next improvements to the car? engine? looks like that with some more oomph you should be at the top! the chasis looks great! :D

A new engine would be fun... Would bump me up a notch in classification and would cost a lot of money. But it would sure be fun. :)

Why would I want a V6?

Pros
-More Power

Cons
-Expensive to build
-Doesn't fit the body without mods
-Needs upgraded propshaft and clutch
-Race classification goes out the window (I will end up in a class with much less competition)
-HEAVY which leads to:
-Chassis needs to be re-tuned

4-cyl is more or less drop in and will not alter any weights or such and hence will not drive any major changes to the chassis/drivetrain.
Plus I have rods and a base engine already.

Turbo? Have you actually held a turbo in your hand? :)
Adds almost as much as a V6 to the total weight and will throw me even more off course in the classifications.

NO WAY! :P

N/A 2 liter is the way...

Really, I imagine the manifold, turbo, and intercooler adding the extra weight, I didn't think it would be as much to bring the weight in front to be as much as with a V6.

In any case, I always liked the N/A route...what are you waiting for?? heheh

Downloaded and looked the vid's nice, like your rear view mirror.

Nice start, a shame of the fiat blocking in vid 2, your reaction though is priceless  Liked race 2 a lot a nice fight and close racing!
