Modified 3.2 24v lower oil Sump wanted

Post by Alfaaa1 »

Hi ,
I am after a modified lower sump to suit a 3.2 24v v6 that I am fitting to my Alfetta GTV.
Also a modified thermostat housing.
Does any one have these for sale. :?:

Yes , drop me pm . Also you would need alt bracket and trigger wheel plus bracket .
Edit : probably easier if I show you how to cut and weld sump up as posting this from UK to Oz will cost atleast £200 . Can send you the small stuff .

I have a spare but I don't want to sell it. The place I had mine welded has a jig as a result of the two I had made, so could make another easily enough. Bushell Engineering in Brisbane.

Alfaaa1 if you get stuck send me a pm.

In general. Who really is thinking of converting to 24v? And what parts seem to cause the most trouble for people to obtain? If there is enough interest I may be enticed to put together a basic 'kit' to get the ball rolling for those that don't feel it as a viable option.

Hi Keven,

Yes I did get your email.
Been away for a couple of weeks.
I am getting some parts made locally and the lower sump I am getting from Extreme Tuning.

I am happy as my gtv is slowly getting there. :D

another solution is to modify the oil pump to fit it in the original sump.
