With the oldest GTV6 nearing 40 years in service, a forum to document projects and restoration seems sensible.

My GTV has only one coat of paint I will 600 wet paper rub it down and then give it 3 coats of paint.
I have made a spray booth in my shed which keeps the dust and insects away. :)

Hi Kev,
Yes I am one of the lucky ones away from the fires but we have a lot of smoke.

I have never seen it so bad as its now.

They stated days ago that 1/4 of the state of Victoria was on fire.

Very scary.

A lot of animals have been killed.

Hi Alfaaa1,as we have only seen bits and pieces of pics of your build and was thinking if you have time to repost from the beginning on new thread but in this section . Must say you have done an amazing job on the engine as well . Would do it justice and guys who have not seen it from beginning can see your hard work :)
I don’t have anything new on my side apart from changing ECU on my track car and doing interior mods over winter( UK ) ... however I am heading to sunny SA in the next week to finish off my late dads Junior and clock a few miles !
This was the build

With winter here now it's unfortunately time to put the cars into strorage unless there are some sunny rain free days and no salts on the road then out they come. My mate Nick who joins me on my yearly visit to SA is the new owner of my 2.5 so the car is still in the family. We have just wiped down the entire underside and all suspension parts and then sprayed on some ACF 50. Also easier to wipe it on with a cloth in some areas. Three hours later and job was done!
Some pics to follow of clean up and one from three weeks ago down at Goodwood.
