With the oldest GTV6 nearing 40 years in service, a forum to document projects and restoration seems sensible.

Alfa GTV6 3.0 Restoration Project

Post by 75evo »

Guys,

Attached are some of the final results from my dad's 1984 GTV6 3.0. It was originally a GTV6 2.5 which my mom used. But she graduated to a 156 GTA and now looking into a Giulia QV. But my dad always loved this car. The engine sound was different compared to the Nord Alfas he used to own (Giulia Ti, Berlina 1750, Alfetta, Giulietta) and an Alfasud 1.2.

I'll add more comments later but I'm going to post some of the photos for now.

Looks like a nice tidy car. Still have good mechanics that can work on the old Alfas in Malaysia?

For transaxle cars, this guy, Tan Motor (Ah Keong) is the last guy, probably in the whole country. After him, it would be me this forum, and phone calls to Kevin and Jim :D

I have some more photos of the interior and underside.
