Jisop ; your brake pads are totally worn out as Micke said !
they cant move further in direction to disc because they are worn and touch the spring plate (that keep them in the bottom of caliper)
change them and everything gonna in the rigth way.
(its 99% the solution of the problem for sure)

HEHE...
i just see something
your spring plate looks like very strange, so i get a look on my old gtv6 brembo alloy OEM caliper ( the same as you ) AND:
its not at all the same retaining spring plate, your plate is to wide, then make the pads block so sooner in regard of pad wearing.
for sure with this pad retainer you should never worn your pads.
This nigth i take a photo to show you the european spring plate pad retainer.
imho i possible that these plate are lost a day and be replace by this one.
OR the usa gtv6 had a special pad unwearing feature..

look at the difference ! :
Also to be sure that this is the only reason you dont have good brake feeling: try without the pressure plate but keep the two bar that hold the pads.
and have a road test. you should notice a difference, then try to get real spring plate.

Thanks Barry and Micke for clearring that up.
I just bought a new pair of front brake pad.
I could't find the ferodo DS2000 in Australia. they don't know about DS2000. They do have them in Exel series. They recommends lucas brake pads. they say it's better than Ferodo. So I bought Lucas brake pads.
Has anyone try Lucas brake pads?

Sure It is different.
I hear noise from this spring when I apply brake. I think that this noise indicates It is time to change the front pads.
Happy Motoring..
