I wonder if they use the front or the rear ones, the front ones are ENORMOUS.
They're definitely using the fronts... lower down on that page you can see someone who also fitted the rears to his car. Knowing that the Volvo 240 Girlings are already pretty big, you can see from the photos that the Brembos are quite a bit larger even than that. I'm sure it would be fun. :)

BTW: You can order any pads for these calipers which fit the Subaru WRX STI since it's the same dimensions. I think there might be more pads available for that car than the Volvo.

The rear one are easily enough on our light cars, no handbrake stuff either as they are inside the disc.

Pretty easy to get a hold of through the "back door" here too. 8)

With the front brakes you need a very roomy 17" rim or 18".

hehe, well, I'm not taking that kind of advantages of my contacts. I wonät buy any, they are the wrong color. :P

 now I get it: "back door" -> color

Nope, don't need it, for now stock brembo's do just fine for me.

No, they are grey, not red and they say "R" not "Brembo". *joking*

I'm ready to do the same but I'll wait for your report on how easy is the
installation.

dunno if neone is interested but i received my alfa magazine this month and there is a guy advertising the brakes off his 156 gta. 19000 no track days includes calipers with pads and 305mm disks. if i remeber i think he wanted about 900 aus. can post the link if neone is interested. and no i dont know the guy nor do i give a crap if he sells them or not just think that some of you guys could benefit with the exchange rate side of things.

cheers.
