everything has already been discribed in this topic from page 4 on(barry)
but i'll try to take pictures .
i think we have to use 75mm bolts because we have to use a 10mm thick spacer in order to prevent the calipers from touching the wheel
the adaptors will be made in germany out of steel and will cost a huge 300 euro!!!

RZ, I contacted the guys who sold you the discs and calipers and they answered me:

"Dank voor uw prijsaanvraag.

Alle vermelde prijzen zijn exclusief BTW van NIEUWE, ORIGINELE onderdelen.

Wij zien uw reactie/bestelling graag tegemoet.

Met vriendelijke groet,
Firma Tuynder"

What the heck does that mean??

Please keep us updated with the mods

Does anybody know if those calipers and discs (machined to 320mm or so) fit inside AZEV A-Type 16x7,5" wheels? Thanks

Slightly offtopic - but in regards to language barriers, I've found the website http://www.freetranslation.com quite useful for getting the general ideas of what is being said.

Not 100% exact, but it's pretty good for basic understanding!

I wouldn't recommend using it to send them an email though ;)

Hahahaha, funniest thing I've read in a while... :D But I can't tell if that was a serious question or if you were making a joke...

There is more gambling down towards Surfers methinks ;)

If you class gambling as me getting in my beloved 75 and risking more damage by the idiot drivers on the road, and the people who don't know how to park/reverse, or open their doors without hitting you  :?

We have to make our city more interesting by calling it something different

Just done what I ragard as the best brake upgrade for the money on a 116 GTV..
2007 Audi 20l Turbo calipers AND discs!!!!The discs are 315mm and the hat offset is identical to the Alfa GTA disc!
The caliper is super slim, hence the rather large construction of them.
Brilliant performance!!Id say better than my Brembo`s and GTA discs on my Giulietta!

Can any one explain this. We all know BMW is technically far more advanced than most other makes of cars(due to budget, vision etc) then why did they use the sliding caliper on the the old M3 's. Surely if they made a motor that produces over 230kw in a highly advanced car then why ? Was it price ? What would the difference have been if they had not used this and used a two or four pot caliper with the same pad size?

I think it's the cost. Since sliding calipers are used in a huge majority of cars, the cost per unit is a lot less than the other type. Besides they seem to perform well, could be improved, but more than enough for the enthusiastic driver out there.
