Master cylinder mixing.

I have a question in regards to the master cylinder on the 75.

I have the Volvo 4 spot conversion with the 164 rotors all running on the standard 22mm MC; the pedal feels way to touchy with heaps of brake power.

I also have the MC from a 164 that is a 24mm piston; this unit fits no mods needed.

My question, what will the bigger MC do at the pedal?

Less stroke, less touchy.

As above from Mats plus a possibility of slightly higher pedal pressure but you may not sense it due to the action of the booster. On the limit, it should improve your braking reaction time due to shorter stroke.

Tthe 164 24mm MC is an excelent part for a light 4pots setup , just make sure that it is healthy and does not need rebuild.
Pedal will start higher and without noticing when engine working on vacum and booster functioning the brakes will "bite" stronger.
good luck!

Thanks guys.

Now for the brake lines, what do you guys recommend - braided?
if so will the back one also need replacing?

Is there any way of limiting the pressure the vacuum cylinder applies to the MC?
