Master Cylinder grommet/seal

Post by Zamani »

Guys,

The seal or grommet between the MC and the brake fluid reservoir. Mine are bad. The one to get, is it the same as those in the BMW MC? Like from a E30 325i or E34 535i?

I bet all Girling MCs have the same and all ATE have the same (from the time period in question), but that is just a guess.

GTV6GP,

Yeah that's the one mate.

The price here is $8/pc . That's nuts. The BMW ones are $3.XX/pc.

Bazza,

I measured the Alfa one as 17mm OD and 10mm ID (roughly). Most BMW/VW ones are listed as 22mm/12mm which won't fit. From what car should I get it from you think? If not, heck I'll just pay the $16 for the 2 miserable grommets.
