Seems like he had done avery good job then , it's not that easy to weld on that cast iron hub, usually needs to be pre-heated and the use of the correct cast -welding electrode(or cast iron filler wire pn tig).Micke wrote:Speaking about welded bolts. The bolts rotated in the holes and my friendly neighbor welded then to the hub. Removed the box and dedion yesterday and everything still looks fine.

the new gta has bigger calipers and bigger disks 330mm and because the first series were bad on the 156 and 147 i think the second series is cheap!!www.tuynder.nl is the address to get original alfa spares for low prizes.
are you still running the booster with that setup? and what about master cylinder size? if u plan on keeping the rear brakes standard have u thought about a step master cylinder like used in some of the older mercedes and such.
