El cheapo rear vented brake upgrade - ideas?

Let's state three things:

-outboard brakes are not an option (say regulations)
-SZ/RZ rotots unavailable / extraorbitant prices
-custom stuff; alu floating hats etc etc out of question

I believe someone has tackled with the issue here. I asked some local chaps for some aftermarket rotors with relatively close dimensions to the originals.

So let's start...

I was thinking of either using stock calipers, or calipers that were working with these rotors.
Any opinions, ideas, suggestions?

I had ventilated discs with bells made here and was very reasonable . Compltete was R3000 . Which was 250 euro then . Spacers for for caliper was 40 euro. This matched the sz set up exactly. These disc were cut from a Nissan disc . Not sure which model .

I seem to recall some kind of pug 106 front vented rotors.

Alternatively, what about spraying cool mist on the rear brakes? Maybe air scoops from the top or bottom of the car with the cooling mist spray. With garbage dot3 fluid, my brakes now all vented, had not much of a overheating problem. So the rear vented brakes do work. But if the cost is crazy, probably cooling mist and ducting may help. But the fact is, heating up the brakes kills the seals. So even if your brake fluid doesn't boil, eventually you will kill all the seals. I'm going to improve the brake ducting water misting.

www.brembo.com has an aftermarket list of discs online. You can search on different things like centre hole diameter, thickness and overall diameter. :)

Wow those kia rotors look quite promising yet i guess the centering hole and pcd are wayy to big. Anyway, I have comepetely taken apart the dreaded rear calipers, and looking at their internals there is NO WAY you could compeletely bleed them in normal conditions... we already know that 105 series rear caliper is a bolt on upgrade without the silly handbrake mechanism, but good luck finding these easily. Then I came across Volvo V70 rear calipers which looks like this:

If I only knew the dimensions

A junkyard/breaker/recycler could be your friend... a known bad caliper could be bought on the cheap and used for fitting / checking for size, etc.

If you're at a breaker, check the rear calippers from an Opel Omega as well... i believe they fit on the gearboxside.
