Vented rear disk fitment

I am working on installing some vented rotors on my transaxle and I am struggling with fitment. Every brake rotor I have ever installed had the thicker side facing in, but in this instance there does not seem to be enough room on the inside piston when I install them that way.
Which way is correct? (The rotors and caliper spacer kit are from Performatek).

Update: After moving parts around for a while, I am just going with the orientation shown in the second photo. I suspect that it is not the correct way to to go, but that is the only way it seems to fit.

They can only fit one way . Did you buy this kit recently ? I did not know you could get vented rear discs anymore !

You can easily adapt from Peugeot OR, order from Brembo the original vented ones! 8)

Geez, and I went to all that effort to make bells and adapt to fit in my old race car .

I don't blame you Kev... Leave it to us poor people to come up with such cheap solutions!

My disks that are shown in the photos are the Brembos.
Jim- Do you think I will be ok if I run them with the thicker side facing out (as they appear in the second photo)?

I have a new set of these and the relative calipers, but never put them on the car as I never saw the need, even after measuring disc temps on track. As for how to mount them, I believe there's only one possible way to do it so they fit. If they can be mounted both ways, we'll have to look for Turbodelta and SZ rear brake pics to see the factory way.

Surely the vents go outboard? The thickness builds outwards and the outer parts of the calipers are moved out for obvious reasons.
