Is there any where I can find high performance rods, and not have to pay $1600 bucks for them, also looking for low comp pistons, like Greg's
got in the super verde.

Low compression pistons are no problem, J&E, Venolia, Wiseco (they make you buy 12), Ross, Arias and many others can make them for you.
We could debate all day long about which are the best. J&Es seem very popular with the rice crowd and offer a low expansion forged piston which although weaker then a traditional forged piston, is said to be great for mild street cars.
The Dawie motors seem to be using Ross pistons so they must be good. We can't argue with the awsome results those motors give. I like Venolias. I have never had one fail, and they make whatever I want at a fair price. It also doesn't hurt that they now know how to make a non interference piston for the Alfa V6 that actually works.
