Started a few weeks ago making a few sets of headers. I found it impossible to get equal lenght headers on 41 ID and 43ID pipes on the 24v IF you do not cut the body or shift the motor(loosen engine mounts).
I have a good set at the moment which I will take to the specialist who can weld it up properly. I just cut and tack it(burn holes) together to test the fit in the engine bay.
When they come back I will post the pics.
Anyway here are two pics at the moment.

Hi Michael,
Looks like your the person to know for Alfa upgrades. Your Alfa looks great and I was wondering what you did to your suspension & brakes. I was not sure if your car is used for the track only or not but I am interested in your set up.
Since I am new to your forum I am not sure what others have done to their alfas. My most recent sports car were a M5 with 400 horses and it was fast. My other sports car has 375 horses but I totalled it. Can an Afla have this much HP and not break alot?
I realize that HP is not the only factor for speed by looking at the new Lotus. I was wondering how my HP you think you will have on your Alfa along with what you think your 0-60 time and 1/4 miles will be. Also what do you think you g factor is? Thanks for your input and feelings on this issue. My Alfa has started up no problem. I am bringing it to my mechanic to double check the driveline before I bring it to my associates warehouse to begin the restore. I want to drive it there rather than tow it and just want to make sure nothing breaks on the way since I have not used it at all since 1997. Thanks for your help.

Hi Michael,
I am going to assume your last name is Harris. If so you don't need to go into the detail of your set up. I saw your set up in another part of the website. Your set up is great and I wish I had the guts to try it out. Is the engine you are putting in what AMG is to Mercedes or M series to BMW??
Thanks for your response.

Glenwood are a world renowned Alfa Tuning house, but are not a factory suported manufacturer like AMG or M.
If you want 400 odd HP from an Alfa, there are three routes:
All require aftermarket injection.
V6- 4vhead or 2v head. The 3.2 GTA engine can be taken out to 3.8L, and with big compression, porting, balancing and a multithrottle inlet, the South Africans talk 400hp. You are revving this thing pretty hard at that point, you have to if you want more than 100hp/litre naturllly aspirated. I dont believe claims of 500hp unless the rev limit is around the 9500 point.
2v head 3.0 can be taken out to 3.5. Good rods, big comp, porting and cams, and lots of revving, and you get the idea. 100hp/litre common. my 2.5 revs hard for 250hp.
Turbo V6 setups. sky is the limit, but the successful twin turbo V6s out there use front mounted gearboxes to cop the crazy torque.
Turbo 4 cylinder. Lighter than the rest, build a good engine, prob cot you less than a worked V6, and go harder IMO!

Fixing it bit by bit....
