Bursting your bubble here mate..The famous Glenwood racer had the piping around the front of the engine all those years ago..Thia was before the twins went on..I donated a Rajay E60 turbo for it in those days ! Dawie actually gave it back to me a while back..Happy memories.. :D
French cars are shit and shit expensive to service and bloody awful and unreliable and expensive and friends don't let friends drive french cars and you wait years for parts.

Thats ok Baz, bit i think the snail i'm using would have destroyed the turbo you mentioned! :P I literally tap the pedal and it makes boost easily, very responsive manifold design. Its would have been even better if i used smaller primary runners from the block, then to a bigger pipe to turbo, but even when i drove with stock injectors and that i knew its going to be good.
I have a couple a vids with first and second test runs, but cant post them in till i get to another computer, cant re-size or do anything on this thing. But basically have vid of driving to exhaust shop with no bonnett(*fun!) and me just revving engine abit, can hear turbo spool up inside car, and a heap of photos.

Now things have changed, i drove along the Eastlink friday and took my girl to a turbo specialist, it had to be done and basically i was told that i never should have tried to run it on stock injection, so its there getting a new ECU, bigger injectors and fuel pump. And he's right, i could only rev to 3000rpm, abit more maybe but i didnt want to detonate engine,so i'm doing it right. I was gonna use a Microfueler but it would have been a waste of time.(doublehandling)
I cant believe after the money i've already spent that i didnt budget for an ECU! Anyway she will be sorted in afew weeks and after a dyno tune.

Hey Patzo, i dunno about Specttacolo, i'll be there for sure, but will leave mine parked out the front like i always do now. So come grab me and i'll show you what i've done, take you for a spin for sure, but yeah i wont enter it. Hmm, dunno about kicking anyone's arse, but its a new design 460hp BB snail so should do some damage to afew ego's. Compared to what other turbo's my friends have, this is in another ball park.
The new turbo mechanic i have now is amazing, he tells you everything in detail, and i'm very thankful i drove out there that day(90kmh on da Link! Arrrgh).

Will send pics and vid in soon, sorry guys, its all on a cd in my other car i'm driving atm, so its coming!! :P :P 8)

Hope your all well and cant wait to drive this...properly!!

Well damn me, i wrote quite a large reply here, then the pc said cannot send..? So here's a very quick note to keep you guys up to date cos now i gotta go..

Drove Alfa along the Eastlink(90kph arrrgh) to meet a turbo specialist who is now looking at my car, for its gone to another stage of development. He is putting on bigger injectors, a better ecu and fuel pump. He couldnt believe i tried to start my car with the stock injection with no microfueller or anything, lucky i didnt detontate engine!
This i should have done fron the start lol, but live and learn and what a learning curve this project has been.

Patzo dunno about Spectacollo, i will be there but i'll leave my car parked out the front like i always do now. But by all means come say hello and i'll show you whats been done.

back on the road in 3 weeks, maybe 4!! But no more than that!!!

Congratulations Garth it looks great. Lets hope it runs as it looks. I wanna read some stories about that GTV6 kicking butt to modern sport cars soon. Only detail I would change is the wheels. I would keep them in black but a more 80s styled wheel.

Thankyou Lucass, wheels arent black, color is called Ego. Each to their own regarding style of wheels... 8)

Apologies guys to double posting before, pc i was on was saying i couldnt add this or that, and i thought it simply didnt go through lol.

Anyway just waiting for my ecu to be all done. Then i can happily drive anywhere and not worry about any fuel issues!

Was going to post some more pics, but the pc i'm on has decided to send the cd drive on holiday, so its not reading the disk, always a catch on these dodgy internet cafe pc's, havent been in one of these places for well on 2 yrs lol.

Hope your all well, will be a week till i'm back and will hopefully have some vid posted.

Aha, now I can see looking closely that its not black, its like a very dark grey, I have a similar color in my wheels. Its better than black.
