Exhaust system

Post by Zamani »

Anyone has photos of their exhaust setup. My bro just had his custom made. I'm gonna try to snap some photos and post it here. It looks nice! I'm in the middle of planning a revised system.

Is this for the 3.45L ? What's the size like for the various stages of the exhaust?

Its actually turned out to be a 3.0L 24V, I will get sizes, but I wont know for some time since the exhaust system is not exactly nearby.

What? What happened to the 3.45L ? The idle seems rough. How come?

Looks the the bends are nicely made. Australia is exhuats heaven I think. Seems like lots of shops have mandrel benders. Am I wrong on this?

Amazingly, in the US of A, it's crush bends galore. Unless you custom buy the bends.

Yes, many shops can mandrel bend, and this place did a very, very nice job.

Its a long story about the 3.45, perhaps for another thread another day.

Anyway, the place that did my exhaust system had never even seen a 75 before, they enjoyed it, nice and challenging :)

I really think the skid-guard was a good idea, my old system had to be patched up numerous time from kissing the ground. They also informed me I do not require a Cat, fine by me.

No from Glenwood like the 3.5,

I know of 2 standard (164) 24V coming into aus if anyones interested, and 7 TS gearboxes.

I am just about to dismantle a 75 3.0L in Australia NSW.

If anyone is interested, the engine and box are in excellent working order.

Well this is it, 2-3/4inch with an 3inch outlet, no fancy tip.

The 02 sensor is where the pen is sticking out.

Pace headers into straight through muffler and sectioned stainless rear resonator.

The sound is moderate until you decide to wake the passengers with the sweetest sound of the modified 3.0L
