That's a very professional looking setup. I am sure it's fast!

That looks very very pro.
The importance of intake pipes of equally length is gone when the manifold is pressurized? I thought that even under pressure resonace-pipes where helpfull.

Evert,yes..A contentious issue i.m.o.
This is a road going car,std. cast pistons,std rods. We are boosting 0.7 bar only.No more.The little engine WILL make 240 wheel hp here.On std. driveline components and for the sake of reliability I will stick to that max. boost.
Equal length runners don't apply here,functionality was more important.and ease of fitment.

If I were to build a full race motor that needed the "n"th bit of power and torque,yes,I would design something quite different from what we have here..

Back to back,if you drove this car now and if you drove it with equal length runners,you would not feel any difference..

:D

If you are interrested, I can post a (translated) programm with calculations:
-of resonancepipes;
-of ridewind enduces intake manifold pressure (RAM-air);
Also I'm stil working on a power and heat balance program for turbo-compressor and compressor engines. (I'm busy, so not done tomorrow)

The owner of the car wanted some type of air vent system on the car for under bonnet temps...
We looked at all sorts of types such as the old Cossie Saphire vents..eventually I said whoa ! We need to go period style if we do anything here..

This is the result and Im stoked !!
Im perforating my Giulietta`s bonnet soon !!
