very nice work indeed. just gota ask is this a race car or a road/race registered car, just noticed lack of a thermo fan on the rad thats all. i also like very much the attention to detail especially the heat shielding around the turbo area of the engine bay.

cheers

Hey Patz..the little black dots on the rad?I think them thar things hold the fan on from the rear..

Very nice work,of course,my favourite gtv..the strada coupe.. 8)

Think it is a street/registered car: looks like the front license plate has been "blacked" out. Also, can't imagine many put hood liner on a race car. Looks VERY nice.

Why would you need it everywhere and on the turbo?

Totally off topic: Mats, what the f%$# happened 0-3, 3-3, and then some idiot... Just read something brief about the incident. Anyway, guess you guys will win by 3-0 at the desk of UEFA. Sweden and Denmark played Euro Cup qualifier Saturday evening.

barry i thought about that but if the fain is in front of the radiater then where does the intercooler fit in. i had a pretty tight fit as it was with only about 10-15mm clearence between the rad and interccoler on my car.
ar4me dont you worry ive seen alot of race cars that have supposedly been modified and still have stupid things like hood liners or airconditioning. the blacked out number plate says nothing as my car is heavily modified yet still regeisterd for road use.
ok off topic jules you know what im gona ask next dont you buddy...power power power..whats the lastest gossip with this car fill us all in its been a while?????

Mats: "OVER" the turbo (as in 'under the left side hood'), seems like a hot place..

So what if the air is hot, if you put a heatshield there the turbo will be extemely hot. Now the other parts that should be cool are kept cool but the turbo is allowed to shed some heat to the other parts.

ar4me: Are you talking about grown men palying on the grass? Who cares about that?

:? Didn't you just answer it yourself based on that exact observation? Your original question was whether it was a race car or a race/road registered car. Based on registration/license plate presence it looks like the latter - no? :?

ar4me-nope i did not, could be club reg, could be a secret intercooler arangement could be anything, now im not saying it isnt a numberplate behind there im just emphasizing the fact that all too often we presume we know what we are looking at without asking questions.and furthermore i dont even think it is that important that it warranted a reply from u saying that i answered my own question..if i new the answer i wouldnt have asked and gone a little off topic when id rather hear about this cars modifications and performance. but hey thats just me, i dont have alot of time on my hands i guess. :D
