How stout is the bottom end?

How stout is the bottom end of a 2.5 V6?

Considering proper fuel and ignition, will the stock bottom end take 250ft*lbs of torque?

Assuming you don't get any knock (detonation) the answer is yes, it will handle 250 lb/tq
