Made an adapter for fast puly change:

I'm aming for 300 crank hp (0,6 bar boost) with al stock internals. Here in Holland we have nice 95octane feul and there are alfa 3.0v6 engins running 300hp with stock internals over here.

Wow! That's dedication, most would have junked the body for another. That supercharger looks huge. Is it a 112? From what I can see I like the setup, it's not the way I do it, but it's cool!

thanks!

It is a uge unit for this type model. It's an m62 4th gen of an Nissan Xterra. Couldn't find a cheap MP 62 model wich is a lot smaller. I choose for a passenger side supercharger setup because it didn't fit at the other side and this way i don't have to get rid of the windscream washer reservoir. You have to drill holes in the engine , for mouniting , wich was nervre breaking but it did work out nice. Can't wait to drive this baby!

Ah, the Nissan M62, that explains it. That's a good unit, just externally large as you mentioned. I like the quick change pulley set up.

Intercooler core size is something about 600mm X 170mm X 65mm. They are very cheap on ebay and the quality look very good. about 100 dollars.

I already buildt in a megasquirt.

As for max torque trough out the entire rpm range , somthing was spinning trough my head. What if u use an electronic regulatet tb valve. You can spin the supercharger faster and regulate the boost with de tb valve. So in mid rpm you not entirely open the tb. My tb comes in front of the charger between the air filter and the charger. Feul consumption doesn't go up for normal driving beqause it's operating in "vacuum". But you can have a more HP at max rpm and save the transaxle.

Then i do not realy know or Megasquirt supports an electronic tb :? Don't plan on changing the motor mangement ..

http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/MS2 ... .htm#boost Do you mean somethin like this?

Which MS do you have? Use an actual firmware of the 3.0.xx stage on a MS2 and you get a lot of extra control with your setup! The firmware 3.0.x has a much improved controlling method for controlling boost or an IAC Valve! Standard on MS2 is a 2.1.0d firmware.

That's not what i mean. I mean a drive by wire tb. I have MS2 V3.0.

Wauw great work! Can't wait to see this car at a meeting :) next year @ trans-axle day?

Just a tip, I uses exhausttape (uitlaatband) for the manifolds. It decreased the outgoing heat by 300 degrees. They say that because the gasses don't cool the leave the exhaust faster.

It really helps bringing down the temperature under the hood. Just a tip :)
But stunning work!

That's a good tip about the tape. Front mount intercooler is making it a little bbit harder to cool the radiator. So the tape helps for a cooler engine.

Transaxleday. Never been there but it sounds nice. Think i'll go to it!

inlet pipe charger is not finisched in this picture.

And here the modified gearbox mounts and shortend distributer for the bearing of the oil pump.

now i'm busy with finding a paint sprayer for a reasonable price.

Very nice! do you have any more pics of the modified gearbox mounts?

I'm about to get hold of a Supercharger out of a Greyhound bus, the ones with the Detroit Diesel engine, they used to use these buses over here about 25 years ago, and I can find one cheap! :D
