Maybe these headers don't count as they had to go upwards due to being 44 mm diameter to match the 3.7 big bore capacity . They simply cannot go downwards as their is no space to fit 3x 44mm pipes in that tiny space . These were made for Glenwood designed by Div .
Chaps with the tiny 36 mm csc headers already know space is very tight as these headers pass the sump .

The good old short headers which were cheap and convenient to make before you added export costs and freight .
Could take them on and off in twenty mins .

Gentlemen.
We are getting so engrossed in the engine headers issue that little attention is being paid to safety fundamentals.
All you fabricators need to go back to high school and pay more attention to your science classes !! :D

Out of the three forms of heat transfer, convection, conduction and radiation, radiation is the most efficient. That's why the sun was invented. :D

Given the proximity of the headers in this photo (and others) to the front brake line, this is a potential brake boiling episode just waiting to happen along with the consequence of such an event.

FIX IT FOR FK SAKE !!!

You are absolutely right, that is precisely why i wraped the headers in glasscloth and alutape and use a heatshield
