Guys,
sorry for my crappy english, but i have a problem.
I had an appointment for her MOT.
But she wouldn't start in the first place.
2nd: While driving the entire car quits.
Engine and all the dials go dead.
I was thinking of an electrical problem, could it be the alternator?
Or is it something else?
Please let me hear your opinion.
Saluti, Arjan.
The car is an original GTV6 2.5 btw.

Heh, I had the exact same problem. Ended up being the alarm system/immobiliser. One of the cables was loose.
It will be an electrical problem.

My experience in this area was traced to the dual core wire that goes into/exits from the distributor. If the two cores touch (as in going over a bump when the connection of this wire at the distributor is worn) then everything dies. Two cents worth of insulating tape was the answer to two months of mystery.
